Telekinesis is essentially the ability to move an object on the physical plane using only psychic power. While some people think that it is an occult practice, this is not strictly so. I can only give my perspective, but I believe that we are all born with this skill. It is inherent, like walking, talking, breathing. We simply neglect it from day one.
Psychokinesis is the umbrella term for various related specialty abilities, which may include:
- Telekinesis; movement of matter (micro and macro; move, lift, agitate, vibrate, spin, bend, break, or impact)
- Speed up or slow down the naturally occurring vibrations of atoms in matter to alter temperature, possibly to the point of ignition if combustible
- Aerokinesis, the telekinetic subspecialty of being able to control the movement of air molecules specifically.
- Hydrokinesis, the telekinetic subspecialty of being able to control the movement of water molecules specifically
- Self levitation (rising in the air unsupported, flying).
- Object deformation (including metal softening and bending).
- Influencing events.
- Biological healing.
- Teleportation (disappearing and reappearing elsewhere).
- Phasing through matter.
- Transmutation of matter.
- Shape-shifting.
- Energy shield (force field).
- Control of magnetism.
- Control of photons (light waves/particles).
- Thoughtform projection (a physically perceived person, animal, creature, object, ghostly entity, etc., created in the mind and projected into three-dimensional space and observable by others; for thought images allegedly placed on film).
- "PK Parties" were a cultural fad in the 1980s, where groups of people were guided through rituals and chants to awaken metal-bending powers. They were encouraged to shout at the items of cutlery they had brought and to jump and scream to create an atmosphere of pandemonium (or what scientific investigators called heightened suggestibility). Critics were excluded and participants were told to avoid looking at their hands. Thousands of people attended these emotionally charged parties, and many became convinced that they had bent silverware by paranormal means
- Shaping Energy With The Mind is often used to make psi balls. This is a way to learn to shape energy. You cup your hands as if holding something between them, and then think like your a faucet of energy, and just let it flow out through your hands and into a ball between them. Even if you can't see it maybe it's not strong enough and you need to add more. Don't worry about seeing when you first start because you may not be able to add enough. You can tell if you made a psi ball though by paying attention to your hands. They will get hot and your hand will have little twitches every now and then. If your hands hurt don't worry, it's normal. Try making psi balls during different feelings, and see what changes there are. Once you can see your psi ball you can change it's color, shape, and etc. It will do whatever you want it to.

lock doors
turn on lights
hurl objects at people or at other things - Teenagers, at puberty, seem to express an interest in developing telekinesis sometimes linked with other psychic interests. These might include telepathy, a feeling of not being from this planet or a connection with aliens, and poltergeist activity linked to telekinetic activity. Some teenagers move on with channeling through ouija boards - automatic writing, or other forms of psychic connections. It is all about power and the return of one's powers. Awakening
